About The Position

Lead Event Housekeeping Attendants will be responsible for leading and delegating tasks to housekeeping staff and ensuring completion of assigned tasks including but not limited to the cleanliness and upkeep of all assigned areas, restrooms, dressing rooms, entrance ways, stairwells, elevators, escalators, exteriors. Essential Duties: Detail cleaning, mopping, emptying trash cans, replacing trash liners, wipe down areas, sweep, clean up spills and fluids, floor maintenance and other miscellaneous cleaning functions. Leading, delegating and ensuring completion of assigned tasks. Follow procedures and cleaning routines as assigned. Report damage or areas that need further attention to Supervisor. Interact in a professional manner when dealing with other building staff, clients, guests and supervisors. Requirements

  • A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
  • Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Proven ability to effectively lead a staff
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work effectively and efficiently in a high-pressure environment
  • Flexibility to work extended shifts including overnights, weekends and holidays
  • Prior experience in a cleaning environment, methods, supplies and equipment are desired but not required as qualified individuals will be fully trained
  • Ability to maintain good business relations with all employees and managers in other departments
  • Ability to move materials and equipment up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to position self to clean areas over, under and through
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods during shift
  • Ability to efficiently move about the venue for extended periods during shift including stairs, elevators and escalators
