Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Construction related field.
Excellent writing, communication, and organization skills.
Positive, enthusiastic, and energetic attitude.
Self-starter, results driven and able to work independently.
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a broad group of stakeholders to foster trust and partnership.
Ability to multi-task and is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Lead estimating efforts for the entire market and work with our corporate estimating team as necessary.
Demonstrated, on multiple projects, expertise in all aspects of project estimating from project pre-planning thru commissioning/closeout.
Proven track record of successful estimating performance as measured by internal customer satisfaction, absence of project disputes based on budget/estimating problems, profitability, timely completion, project documentation, project transition from estimating to operations and estimating staff development.
Analyze architectural plans, blueprints, and project specifications to prepare accurate estimates for drywall projects.
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information and data.
Calculate material quantities and labor costs required for each project.
Evaluate and select appropriate materials and construction methods to ensure cost-efficiency and quality.
Prepare detailed and competitive bids and proposals for clients.
Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors to address questions and provide clarifications.
Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
