About The Position

Lead Epidemiologist - Data jefferson mo seeking a Lead Epidemiologist - Data to provide direct support to the Missouri Healthcare-Associated Infection/Antimicrobial Resistance (HAI/AR) Program. This role involves data management, statistical analysis support, and serving as a subject matter expert for healthcare facilities regarding the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). Agriculture Government Information Technology check H1B Sponsor Likelynote Responsibilities Serve as HAI/AR Program Lead for data management, including collection, cleaning, and summarization of data Serve as HAI/AR Program Lead for the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) with CDC, internal, and external partners for healthcare-associated infections, multidrug-resistant organism, and antimicrobial use and resistance module NHSN submission and data needs Provide statistical analysis support for HAI/AR Program for internal and federal grant related projects Assist with maintaining collaborative communications with healthcare facilities and local public health agencies regarding healthcare-associated infections and multidrug-resistant organisms within their facilities and jurisdictions Assist healthcare facilities with the on-boarding of NHSN reporting, as necessary Qualification Epidemiological techniques Statistical analysis Statistical software R Statistical software SAS Master of Public Health Communication skills Required Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with at least 2 years of relevant public health experience Demonstrated proficiency in common statistical software platforms (R, SAS, etc.) Excellent written and oral communication skills across a variety of audience types Demonstrated proficiency in epidemiological techniques, methods, and surveillance, with the ability to interpret and analyze epidemiological findings Preferred Concentration in either Epidemiology or Biostatistics
