The Lead Enterprise Platforms Product Manager is responsible for guiding the strategic direction for a portfolio of technologies within the highest-level Domain space. This role encompasses product strategy, roadmap development, opportunity identification, business case development, industry research, and the introduction of new products or features across the Domain space. Key responsibilities include end-to-end product governance from concept to production, aligning and engaging senior stakeholders to manage and measure the delivery of product strategy and roadmap against established goals. The manager guides and develops other Product Managers within the domain, and owns and influences the long-term strategy of complex domain areas and cross-domain products. A deep understanding of enterprise and technology strategies, architecture, dependencies, and overlaps across the enterprise is essential. The position influences the long-term roadmap of key domain spaces and the introduction and shaping of modern technologies and solutions. It also guides the reporting of health and security risk, life-cycle stages, and technology cost across complex and cross-domain products. Collaboration with senior leadership and technology teams is required to negotiate and agree on new systems and changes to existing practices. The role involves understanding business needs and technology solutions to bridge the gap between business clients' needs and technology solutions, influencing Solution Architects to explore potential technical solutions. The manager facilitates and guides demand shaping with business and architecture, and drives a sustainable cyclical process of business value identification, financial review, forecasting, idea generation, opportunity sizing, business case preparation, and product enablement. A deep understanding of the market, competitive solutions, and technology readiness is necessary to synthesize market changes and technology modernization into actionable improvements. The role guides and enforces performance measurement to assess efficiencies gained, value realized, and ROI of product investments, using these measurements for strategic suggestions and enhancements. Finally, the manager understands, influences, and arbitrates portfolio impacts and delivery commitments for new or modified priorities.
