As a Lead Enterprise Demand Planner at S&C Electric Company, you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. This individual contributor creates demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, customer insights, and AI. This role collaborates with sales, marketing, and finance to align forecasts and continuously improve accuracy and service levels/lead times. You'll help transform the grid for resilient and reliable power worldwide, advancing a safer, more reliable, and more resilient electrical grid. Our products help the grid adapt to severe weather and transition to clean energy.

  • Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide demand planning practice and integrated business planning to align commercial and operational goals.
  • Align external sales, the voice of the customer, and market trends insights to advance S&OP practices.
  • Leverage analytics tools to assess supply trends, forecast accuracy, and capacity utilization.
  • Develop and execute scenario-based demand forecasts to evaluate the impact of market fluctuations.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track forecast accuracy, bias, and demand variability.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to incorporate qualitative insights into demand forecasts.
  • Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with others.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Statistics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in supply planning, demand planning or production planning.
  • APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) or ASCM Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
  • Demonstrated experience in transforming enterprise demand planning or integrated business planning.
  • In-depth understanding of Oracle Planning Capabilities and industrial supply chain management principles.
  • Sound business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Great communication skills, able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sound interpersonal skills to establish meaningful relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Great organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • Great computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
  • MBS or Master's in Supply Chain Management.
  • Green Belt or Black belt.
  • 5+ years in enterprise, multi-site or multi-plant demand planning, Statistical Analytics, Modeling, or Decision Making.
