About The Position

Incumbent must work three days each week in the Omaha, NE office We are looking for a Lead Enterprise Change Practitioner who will collaborate with the VP of Strategy Realization to advance the Associations' change management discipline across the enterprise. This role is pivotal in driving the broader enterprise change management strategy & framework across the enterprise with a focus of enhancing the teammate & customer experiences in their readiness, understanding, supporting, leading, and adoption. Key responsibilities include fostering an enterprise partnership model with cross-functional teams such as Organization Enablement, Training, HR, Internal Communications, and other key departments. Additionally, this role involves coaching, demonstrating, and driving change as a team lead, coach, and mentor to the Organizational Change Practitioner(s) within Strategy Enablement, developing and implementing change strategies and tools to facilitate enterprise change at scale. The Lead Enterprise Change Practitioner drives and oversees the change management maturation roadmap and is an expert in change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, PROSCI). This role involves direct interaction with many leaders, including senior and executive leaders within the Associations, to drive and align change initiatives with the broader organizational strategy, bringing transparency across all strategic initiatives, programs, business process/models, etc.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Organizational Change Management, including strategy, planning, development, and delivery, stakeholder engagement, human resources, leadership alignment, communications planning, training strategy design, and organizational readiness required.
  • Expert experience in developing and implementing change management strategies for large-scale transformations across an enterprise required.
  • Professional Certifications in Program or Organizational Change Management (e.g., Certified Change Practitioner) required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and tools related to carrying out essential responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate an enterprise model/governance framework in partnership with Organization Enablement, Training, HR, Internal Communications, and other key departments to ensure a consistent approach in managing and leading change initiatives and culture across the Associations.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership and guidance on change management for best practices and emerging concepts.
  • Guide the strategic direction and implementation of the change management function at an enterprise level
  • Define, build, and execute an enterprise change framework to orchestrate the intake and assessment of impactful changes across Associations, ensuring visibility and transparency.
  • Provide thought leadership to design and guide the development of new tools and resources at an enterprise level to visualize change impact areas.
  • Design and leverage a standardized change rubric to assess the size of changes and resources needed, from a self-serve model to a larger change team.
  • Facilitate a Community of Practice (CoP) and create a set of standards and tools for implementing change readiness and adoption strategies/plans to support strategic initiatives and programs.
  • Perform analysis as a member of the Solution Team for impact assessment of all initiatives and strategies.
  • Identify and anticipate organizational challenges and resistance, developing proactive risk mitigation plans.
  • Expert in developing and implementing change management strategies & plans for large-scale transformations and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead strategic program/initiative-level change during all phases (change strategy, analysis, management, reinforcement).
