About The Position

What success looks like in this role: • Collaborates with business, technology and product stakeholders to drive holistic architectural design • Monitors industry and the competition for solution-focused technical and process changes and advances. • Develops the logical and technical architecture for project and platform initiatives. • Evaluates performance, security, reliability, operations, technology and interoperability requirements and produces high level design deliverables that enable development teams to produce products that are flexible, scalable, and secure. • Works with cross-functional technical, development and delivery teams to ensure application of smooth, efficient and scalable release processes. • Communicates technical architectures, relevant technologies, practices, platforms, and products to delivery teams and other stakeholders. • Translates business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases and data warehouses. • Helps define data architectural framework, standards and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, reference data, etc. • Helps define reference architecture and patterns others follow to create and improve data systems. • Collaborates with data users, software and other technical stakeholders to structure effective data flows – from generation through transition to application. • Provides Systems Architecture advice and support across a larger product portfolio or business line. • Collaborates with business, engineering and product stakeholders to drive holistic technology implementations while maintaining constant focus on delivering client value. • Works with portfolio stakeholders and customers to align the architectural direction of the solution intent. • Drives structuring of the product vision, roadmap, priorities, enabler capabilities, non-functional requirements and solution demo activities. • Consults with architecture, development, infrastructure and operational teams to address issues relating to performance, security, scalability, observability and availability.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. security clearance.
  • 10+ years of Hands-on experience developing and managing cloud-native solutions, preferably in AWS or Azure.
  • Hands-on experiences with core cloud services (storage, networking, firewalls, DNS, databases, applications, data analytics, compute, container services) across any cloud provider, preferably AWS or Azure.
  • 10+ years of Hands-on experience in programming and scripting technologies like Java, Python, Groovy, Shell, Go
  • 7+ years of Hands-on experience in designing and developing IaC automation using terraform, cloud formation templates, or ARM templates
  • 7+ years Hands-on experience designing and developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Pipelines or other CI tools
  • Hands-on experience in developing utility scripts and tools using python or shell
  • Hands-on experience in using DevOps tool set Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Sonar, Fortify, Spinnaker etc.
  • Experience in building and deploying docker images
  • Knowledge of implementing Disaster Recovery solutions on-premises or cloud
  • Experience working with agile tools preferably Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence
  • Experience developing unit tests for pipelines
  • Knowledge of 12 factor app methodology
  • Certified Solution Architect in AWS or Azure
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science
  • This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology. Therefore, to conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.

  • Experience in designing and developing AI/ML solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design cloud solutions based on the well-architected framework.
  • Provide thought leadership on usage and implementation of cost-effective cloud solutions.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders (chief architects, technology SMEs, etc.,) to gather requirements for cloud migrations, cloud-native greenfield solutions etc.
  • Review solution architectures with internal cloud architects, and external stakeholders
  • Develop proof-of-concepts, wherever necessary, and validate the solutions with client stakeholders.
  • Conduct assessments on existing environments and provide recommendations for choosing and implementing the right cloud strategy.
  • Work with client stakeholders to create migration, modernization, and digital transformation roadmaps.
  • Setup Cloud Centers of Excellence by working with customer’s IT SMEs.
  • Implement cloud solutions that are highly secure, resilient, fault-tolerant, and compliant.
  • Manage and maintain AWS cloud environments and resources.
  • Provide Hands-on support, wherever necessary, to develop cloud native solutions, DevSecOps, IaC, and SRE automation
  • Develop unit tests wherever applicable
  • Gather requirements from the clients and dissect them into user stories and tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to other team members
  • Conduct code reviews and technical design sessions
  • Work collaboratively with other team members in designing and problem solving
  • Participate in all agile ceremonies
