What this job involves: This position involves supervising technical staff and overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and operations of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in critical infrastructure environments. You'll work closely with regional engineers and chief engineers to ensure facilities operate in compliance with statutory requirements and landlord standards while managing contractors, service providers, and maintenance activities to deliver exceptional service levels. Your day-to-day tasks will include: • Liaise with Regional Engineer and Chief Engineer to ensure site operations meet local statutory and landlord requirements • Create and manage Purchase Orders, Work Orders, and Preventive Management tickets through computerized maintenance management systems • Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure quality work and adherence to JLL and BlackRock health and safety standards • Execute planned and reactive maintenance tasks on MEP plant and equipment while maintaining detailed records for operational and regulatory compliance • Monitor and manage Building Management Systems (BMS) including energy efficiency control strategies and alarm responses • Perform small installation works, repairs, and condition monitoring of mechanical and electrical equipment • Provide technical support for projects and assist with commissioning and handover of plant and user equipment • Respond to 24/7 escalated problems, alarms, and weekend/holiday coverage as part of shift work requirements • Maintain accurate documentation, mark up drawings showing changes, and provide regular reports to line management Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supervising multi-skilled building services maintenance in a contracting environment with critical infrastructure experience
  • Strong knowledge of mission critical cooling systems, power systems, mechanical systems, and fire suppression systems
  • Knowledge of Electrical/Arc Flash Safety (NFPA 70E)
  • Working familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, AutoCAD, and Integrated Work Maintenance Management System (IWMS) software
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays with 24/7 on-call availability
  • Physical ability to operate electric hand tools, work on ladders, lift heavy loads, and work in confined spaces

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Data Center Operations, Military background, or equivalent related experience
  • Project management skills
  • EPA Universal certification for refrigerant handling
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency programs and sustainability practices
  • Electrical or HVAC license
