The Lead Engineer, Systems is responsible for sustainment of current products by reviewing complaints and requests from customers to guide & execute projects, writing requirements & maintaining traceability, and contributing to product development requirements and improved reliability. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Hardware Engineering and is part of the Hardware Engineering team located in Vista, CA and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Lead the customer complaint triage process, meetings, and audits. Independently own and execute reliability improvement projects; including action plans, problem-solving and verification. Work closely with product owners, technical leads, architects and product managers to develop a funnel of reliability improvement projects for new digital scanners. Facilitate communication with field-service and sales personnel directly and through documented procedures. Perform other duties as required by the business.
