The Process Engineer plays a crucial role in driving continuous improvement, designing, operating, standardizing, and controlling processes. This position involves consulting with internal and external clients, performing process redesign, and assisting in the development and implementation of Lean methodologies. The role requires advanced planning, workflow methods, risk management, and quality management to support program objectives.

  • Lead process development, improvement, and standardization across Program and Project Management according to Lean Philosophy.
  • Lead development of Lean methods and tools for customer requirements and critical process features.
  • Organize, moderate, and document internal and external program-related workshops to improve processes.
  • Consult Program and Project Management on alternate methods of solving needs or problems and recommend specific solutions.
  • Apply analytical techniques to drive process improvements, focusing on quality improvement, cost reduction, or revenue increase.
  • Determine root causes of defects in performance through data analysis and process observation.
  • Utilize principles of industrial engineering to evaluate work method proposals and develop recommendations.
  • Implement a feedback culture and incorporate feedback into future plans.
  • Monitor strategic and operational Key Performance Indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage PMO knowledge sharing and identify process benchmarks within and outside the maritime industry.
  • Collaborate with counterparts in other business areas.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Construction Management, or equivalent field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of related work experience.
  • Experience with establishment of Lean Management.
  • Basic project and risk management experience.
  • Proven experience in workshop moderation and managing a small team of professionals.
  • Strong emphasis on implementation and achieving measurable results.
  • Ability for methodical and academic approaches.
  • Advanced analytical and structural skills including mathematical modeling and operations research methodologies.
  • Change Management skills.
