About The Position
Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our Metairie team. The Lead Engineer will coordinate and assign project scope, manage budget schedule, status, and technical interface issues. This position involves providing leadership for the mechanical engineering team and being a resource within the multi-disciplinary teams. The Lead Engineer will oversee engineering calculation checking, analyses, and other tasks using prescribed methods and procedures. Additionally, the role includes organizing and leading weekly meetings with clients to update, discuss, and review project needs, interfacing with project managers and clients per schedule and team demands, and assisting with project control documentation as required, including project design and material/equipment procurement. The Lead Engineer will also review or prepare specifications detailing performance requirements, design data, applicable codes/standards, and vendor drawing requirements.
