About The Position
National Grid is hiring a Lead Engineer, Electrical Planning and Design for Massachusetts. This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to one of our locations. National Grid is implementing its Electric Sector Modernization Plan (ESMP) to enable an electric network that supports the Commonwealth's climate, clean energy, and equity goals and delivers the fair, affordable, and clean energy transition for all our customers and communities. Working within the New England Protection Policy & Support and IEC 61850 team, the Lead Engineer position is responsible for capital delivery support, development of protection policy and standards, and support for disturbance monitoring equipment including phasor measurement units.
