We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead Engineer to spearhead cutting-edge data solutions that will define the next generation of healthcare technology. About the Team Join Analytics Engineering within the Global Data Platform-an ambitious team dedicated to designing and delivering impactful data solutions across Resmed. We work closely with business stakeholders to develop high-quality analytics engineering products that fuel data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
  • 10+ years of experience with SQL on large-scale analytics platforms.
  • 10+ years in software development, including crafting requirements, coding, and testing.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Python, version control systems, and data pipelines.
  • 5+ years managing GitHub repositories and deploying cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with using statistical methods, machine learning, or artificial intelligence to provide business insights or automate workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with dbt, Dagster, and Snowflake.
  • Master's degree in a STEM field.
  • 12+ years of related experience in data science or data engineering

Responsibilities

  • Architecture - you'll join a core team that leads critical data architecture design and development activities for our platforms.
  • Real-time Analytics & Streaming - architect and build data solutions using Kafka and Flink to support real-time decision-making across the organization.
  • Large-Scale Data Warehouse Development - craft sophisticated data models using sql and dbt on our Snowflake Platform.
  • Data products - lead the development of data products and services including dimensional data models, semantic layers used to drive business intelligence, predictive models, and recommender systems.
  • Leadership & Mentorship - Lead a functional team, guiding junior engineers and championing best practices in engineering and data strategy.
