About The Position

Lead Emergency Technician 0.9 FTE Night | Providence Portland Medical Centre The Lead Emergency Technician oversees the work of Emergency Technicians. The position coordinates the completion of the orientation on all new Emergency Technicians, Patient Care Techs and Health Unit Coordinators, in a timely manner, working collaboratively with the Nurse Educator. The position oversees the stocking of and cleaning of the department as well as the completion of all daily checklists. Acts as a resource to the other technicians. Promotes and supports quality patient care with customer service. The position reports to the Supervisor of Emergency Services. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 2 years of recent Emergency Technician experience with demonstrated leadership abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training: EMT, EMS, CNA1, and/or CNA2
