About The Position

MyDefence North America is on a rapid growth journey, and we are looking for a Lead Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer who will play a pivotal role in architecting and advancing a new line of Electronic Warfare products while also enhancing existing offerings. In this role, you will take the lead in shaping the next generation of Electronic Warfare capabilities. From system design to integration and validation, you will be hands-on in the full development lifecycle, translating mission requirements into real-world solutions for Electronic Attack, Electronic Support and Electronic Protection applications, ultimately ensuring the delivery of mission-critical solutions with speed and precision.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (active clearance preferred).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering with at least 2 years relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of relevant experience are required.
  • Relevant disciplines include Electrical, Computer, Software, or Similar.
  • 3+ years in RF signal processing and advanced communications algorithms.
  • 3+ years in EW systems: jamming, countermeasures, radar, signal detection, or direction finding.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Military SIGINT or EW experience (e.g., AFSC L).
  • Hands-on lab experience with RF test equipment.
  • A solid understanding of RF hardware design, Electronic Support systems, and Electronic Attack systems.
  • Familiarity with tactical communications protocols.
  • Experience working in SSA/FOCI environments and with TAK integration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead system design, development and integration across teams.
  • Translate high-level goals into actionable tasks and coordinate subsystems.
  • Assist the Chief Engineer with planning, team coordination and customer engagement.
  • Oversee implementation, verification and validation of systems.
  • Conduct trade studies and allocate functional/performance requirements.
  • Collaborate toward long-range goals, determining the course of action needed to achieve results.
  • Support proposals and deliver technical presentations.
  • Analyze test results and operational data to identify trends and root causes.
  • Provide technical leadership and clear communication across teams.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
