Commercial - Lead Electrician
About The Position
I’m partnering with a well-established and growing commercial/industrial electrical contractor in the greater Atlanta area that is adding a strong, well-rounded electrician to their team. This is not a residential role. The company works strictly in commercial and light industrial environments, including data centers, federal facilities, USPS buildings, industrial plants, remodels, and tenant build-outs. They are looking for someone who can operate independently, run projects when needed, and still work hands-on in the field. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned electrician who still enjoys working with the tools but has the leadership capability to run projects and take ownership in the field. Requirements
- 8+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- Experience running jobs and directing helpers
- Stable work history
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks (federal work required)
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Run commercial or industrial projects
- Lead a helper when required
- Handle remodels and service work independently
- Troubleshoot without always relying on detailed engineered drawings
- Think on their feet and solve problems correctly the first time
- Represent the company professionally with customers
- Manage your work
