Job Title: Lead, Electrical Engineering Job Code: 32539 Job Location: Mason, Ohio Work Schedule: 9/80 (off every other Friday) Job Description: L3Harris Space & Sensors in Cincinnati, Ohio is currently seeking a Power Supply Design Engineering Subject Matter Expert with experience leading and mentoring hardware development teams. This individual will have the opportunity to design power and analog circuitry for launch vehicles, satellites, space avionics, Mars rovers, deep space missions, and infrared product lines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BSEET) and minimum 9 years prior related experience
  • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • Desired background in space or military avionics
  • Desired experience with military standards and high-reliability components

Nice To Haves

  • Subject matter expertise in Analog Engineering related to one or all of the following:
  • Discrete DC/DC switching power supplies design
  • Transformer, inductor, and magnetics design
  • EMI Filter Design
  • Thermal analysis
  • LTspice simulation
  • Architecture related to Power Supplies design
  • Design for high reliability environments
  • Precision circuit design for data acquisition
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in leading root cause analysis, troubleshooting complex technical situations, and leading continuous improvement efforts
  • Demonstrated ability in solving difficult electrical engineering problems
  • Cost and Schedule Estimation
  • DxDesigner, Xpedition, or equivalent schematic capture tools
  • Proficient in electronic design for test, quality, reliability, manufacturability and EMC
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing, assembly, and test processes
