About The Position

As a member of the Generator & Electrical Systems team, this role will be responsible for design and active contributor to the electrical engineering community as an expert, as well a performing firsthand engineering on projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in required field in Electrical engineering, Electrical systems, Power systems.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Significant experience of engineering or related activities on assigned items
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong design and analytical background
  • Ability to drive projects to complete successfully.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading project execution of engineering activities for Electrical Interconnections and cabling, Electrical equipment engineering and other Electrical engineering related activities.
  • Responsible and take ownership of On Time Delivery (OTD) and ensure fulfilment of design and quality of the scope of supply.
  • Lead technical issue resolution to internal and external customers.
  • Review internal deliverables, external deliverables.
  • Verify the concept, calculation and sizing of engineering parameters.
  • Support on engineering guidelines/desgin criteria/specification to reflect with applicable rules, regulations codes and standards and according to good engineering practices.
  • Coordinate with cross functional Engineering teams to execute project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with suppliers as needed.
  • Review and lead on Root Cause Analysis, Design Review of Changes and new design.
  • Review and support technical issues, site issues, commissioning, root cause analysis for engineering related issues.
  • Embrace Lean and make the connection between lean concepts, principles, tools, and the design work and bring continuous improvement ideas and standard work.
