Requirements
- Must be able willing to work weekends
- High school Diploma or GED required
- 2 years group home experience/caring for individuals with disabilities
- 1 year of Leadership experience/caring for individuals with disabilities
- Must pass level 2 background screening
- Ability to truly make a difference in people's lives!
Nice To Haves
- Direct Support experience preferred
- Behavior Focus experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Ability to assist the people we support by promoting the development of functional skills, inclusion and individualization.
- Mentoring individuals to help build social skills and relationships
- Ability to assist the individuals we serve with all necessary basic daily living needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely record keeping and communication within program (e.g. incident reports, verbal reports, shift documentation).
- Provides transportation for residents to legal and medical appointments, activity outings, etc.
- Maintain a safe, comfortable and appropriate environment.
- Ability to participate in community activities with clients
- Cleaning and sanitizing home
- Preparing meals
