To continue our growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a Lead Shred Driver. The Lead position is responsible for supervising the day to day activities of VRC employees or contractors working on a given project in an organization, to ensure operations run seamlessly. The Lead works closely with the team to monitor and evaluate the daily performance of workers and ensure that work equipment is available when needed. The Lead will ensure the work environment is healthy and conducive for workers to carry out their duties without subjecting them to any harm or danger.

  • Supervise the day to day activities of VRC employees or contractors.
  • Monitor and evaluate the daily performance of workers.
  • Ensure work equipment is available when needed.
  • Maintain a healthy work environment.
  • Assess the performance of supervised workers.
  • Inform workers of work conditions, rules, and regulations.
  • Take disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Provide management with work-related records such as attendance and efficiency scores.
  • Give detailed feedback to workers on their performance.
  • Draft shift schedules for workers.
  • Verify adherence to established work schedules.
  • Perform onsite/offsite document destruction using mobile shredding equipment.
  • Operate a company vehicle safely and professionally.
  • Transport documents and equipment to and from customer locations.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on truck and shredder equipment.
  • Follow all safety requirements as outlined in company policies.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Complete necessary paperwork accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness of truck interior and exterior.
  • Maintain personal appearance and truck presentation according to policies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to accept changes in directions based on customer needs.
  • Ability to meet department productivity and quality standards.
  • Ability to move records securely from one location to another.
  • Strong organizational skills.
