Lead Driver Ambassadors collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to promote local and national brands. This role involves not only driving but also acting as a brand ambassador, ensuring client satisfaction with how their company, products, and services are represented. As a Lead Driver Ambassador, you will also be crucial in overseeing the smooth operation of transportation services, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting excellence among the team of Driver Ambassadors.

Requirements

• 3 years of safe driving experience and a valid driver’s license are required
• A passion for growth, leadership, customer service and working with the public
• The ability to use technology such as an iPhone, GPS, and other applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead effectively with a diverse range of individuals
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to train and develop others, fostering a positive and productive learning environment
• Weekend Availability is required
• Excited about showcasing the community
• Comfortable working in different weather conditions, including working during summer/winter months
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Must abide by vehicle weight and height requirements as per vehicle manufacturer specifications

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of a team of driver ambassadors, ensuring efficient and timely completion of all assigned tasks
• Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues, maintaining a safe and secure work environment for both drivers and passengers
• Providing guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere
• Assisting driver ambassadors with any operational challenges or road hazards they may encounter
• Conducting regular training sessions for new and existing drivers, covering company policies, procedures, safety regulations, and customer service protocols
• Maintaining an organized and efficient storage system for driver uniforms, equipment, and supplies
• Promote the advertiser/product in a positive light and help to sell their product by distributing samples, dropping passengers off at the company’s location, and sharing facts on the brand with riders
• Providing safe, efficient and appropriate transportation to the general public while maintaining and embodying Company values and proper treatment to all passengers
• Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed & fosters teamwork
• Communicate schedule updates
• Monitor attendance and punctuality
• Coordinate and manage DAs and fleet tasks/checklist for opening shift

• Assist with conducting performance reviews (ride alongs + other reviews)
• Monitor performance
• Provide feedback (i.e. customer service best practices, driving best practices)
• Retain high-performing drivers
• Ensure fleet is charged and in good conditions ready for the morning shift
• Connect leads with the sales team (sales Slack channel/formstack)
• Assists with coordinating the design and production of ad materials
• Ad placement logistics and ensuring timely artwork installation
