About The Position

Gibbon Packing, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, has an opportunity for a Lead Dock Worker for our Grand Island, NE freezer facility. As a Lead Dock Worker, under the supervision of the freezer facility management, you will lead the team through processes such as checking, counting, storing, shipping, and receiving products to meet company standards. You will need to understand and follow the fundamentals of food safety, HACCP, SQF, GMPs, and good warehousing practices. Your role will ensure the proper receipt, storage, handling, and/or distribution of safe and quality food products at this facility. Note: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to work in various temperatures and conditions including warm, hot, humid, cold, and wet environments.
• Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to work extended hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime as required.
• Must successfully complete training in Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOP, food defense, pallet jack, and scan gun.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience working in a freezer facility.
• Leadership experience.

Responsibilities
