Requirements

  • A valid state driver’s license is required
  • 3+ years of warehouse experience
  • 1+ year of inventory control experience
  • Basic Excel knowledge
  • Proficiency with ERP systems- NetSuite preferred
  • Proficiency with WMS systems - RF Smart preferred
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Ability to act as a flexible and innovative contributor
  • Ability to operate a Forklift and pass certification (existing certification preferred)
  • Demonstrates versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

Responsibilities

  • Leading & supporting daily operations to maximize productivity and meet daily operational goals
  • Ensuring completion of daily cycle counts and all inbound and outbound warehouse operations
  • Coordinating warehouse activities in an effective and efficient manner to satisfy internal and external customer service
  • Identifying distribution issues and reporting them to the appropriate supervisor/manager
  • Leading all inbound and outbound shipment activities including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping
  • Audit shipments prior to packing to ensure that goods match the order
  • Ensuring proper equipment, manuals, and accessories are shipped with the correct order
  • Leading the preparation of shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring orderly files
  • Working with the delivery drivers inclusive of supporting truck preparation and routing assignments
  • Ensuring site compliance with key company standards for safety, facility maintenance, postings/notifications, and other administrative duties as identified
  • Driving adherence to company guidelines and promoting a safe working environment
  • Work with the Supervisor and Shipping on coordinating the scheduling of daily transportation
  • Help manage receiving transactions and paperwork
  • Assist with the inspections of all incoming freight for damage; follows up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues
  • Coordinating with team members to ensure maintenance of material inventory levels
  • Maintaining housekeeping standards across warehouse, break room, and office space; ensuring these are orderly and organized
  • Investigating problems, finding root causes and helps develop solutions
  • Identifying, documenting, and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the manager
