Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level preferred
  • Over 3 to 6 years of experience documenting technical recovery plans and performing technical recovery exercises

Responsibilities

  • Disaster Recovery Planning Provide subject matter expertise to guide the design and implementation of best- in-class disaster recovery plans to protect company data.
  • Disaster Recovery Risk Assessment Lead disaster recovery risk assessments to evaluate the implications of initiatives, systems or technologies. Identify disaster recovery-enhancing solutions to mitigate risk in partnership with other technology teammates.
  • Disaster Recovery Testing Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of tests across the organization. Align testing objectives with business goals and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy, ensuring the continuous improvement of disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Data Collection and Analysis Use data from a wide range of sources to analyze key themes, identify possible impacts on the business, and provide recommendations that have impact on the business over the short or long term. Recommendations could be technical or professional in nature.
  • Continuous Improvement Lead the review of existing operations in assigned area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered.
  • Ongoing Learning and Development Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. Maintain external accreditations and in- depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
  • Horizon Scanning Identify new external developments and / or emerging issues within an assigned domain and evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, assigned team.
