The Out N About program is a community inclusion program for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The program provides social, enrichment, and recreational opportunities for the individuals enrolled in the program. The Direct Support Professional Lead shall assist participants in the ONA program in participating in activities planned within the community, promoting socialization, and assisting the individual(s) with working on their independence. The Direct Support Professional Lead shall provide support and guidance to Direct Support Professionals and ensure participants are cared for under the best practices and support options. The Direct Support Professional Lead will work with the Adult Recreation Program Coordinator to plan activities/events monthly, ensure the program runs smoothly, and will be responsible for all necessary paperwork for all activities/events. Out N About programming occurs on Saturdays and requires in-person staff attendance. Saturday event hours vary but typically take place between the timeframe of 10AM – 3PM. Virtual opportunities may also be available throughout the week. Hour availability will vary based on scheduled events.
