Requirements

  • Minimum Education required: Bachelors degree with 2 years experience in applicable setting Associates degree with 3 years experience in applicable setting HS Diploma/GED with 4 years experience in applicable setting
  • On Call Requirements: Employees scheduled for on-call coverage must be able to arrive at the within one (1) hour of the required program location and be available to respond to calls and program needs during their on-call shift.
  • Valid State of Michigan driver’s license required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to pass background checks as applicable
  • Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid
  • Possess basic computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Encourage positive relationship building & Promoting Independence
  • Elevate employee relations concerns to supervisor.
  • May assist supervisor on special projects.
  • Transportation and Participation in Community Activities
  • Provide leadership, direction and support to staff on shift in coordination with the supervisor.
  • This may include, but not be limited to scheduling, training, compliance, on-call pager, and administrative supports.
  • Personal Care/Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
  • Medication Administration/Health Monitoring
  • Cooking/Meal Prep/Dietary Support
