About The Position

As a Lead Digital Product Manager at MillerKnoll, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the digital strategy for the Herman Miller Group. This position focuses on managing various digital products within the retail systems environment, including Order Management Systems (OMS), Point of Sale (POS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). You will champion user needs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead product management best practices to enhance the digital experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product or delivery management, preferably within digital.
  • 6-8 years experience in managing backend eCommerce and retail systems, including ERP, OMS, WMS, and POS.
  • Deep technical expertise in managed products and platforms.
  • Experience in requirements analysis and definition.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the champion of the user's needs.
  • Develop and maintain the product backlog and feature roadmap.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine key product requirements.
  • Define product features and requirements and lead the implementation of new digital products and/or updates.
  • Ensure user acceptance, performance, and post-production testing is conducted and documented according to guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities and trends from the digital marketplace and analyze relevant vendors.
  • Lead a team of product managers to cultivate a product-centric ethos in the organization.
  • Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships.
  • Perform work team leader role, including staffing levels, employee development, and performance reviews.
  • Research and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and their potential impact on business practices.
  • Set product management best practices and measure the impact of existing processes.
