Be part of a legacy of excellence and growth with sg360°! Our company is seeking a Lead Digital Press Operator for 1st shift (6am to 2pm). They will be responsible for the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of high-speed digital web presses, including the HP PageWide T4250 and A2200 with inline VITS finishing systems. This individual ensures print jobs meet quality standards, trains and mentors press crew members and troubleshoots operational issues independently. The role requires strong technical aptitude, color printing knowledge, and leadership abilities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience operating roll-to-roll digital presses.
  • 2+ years’ experience operating IBM, Kodak, Xerox iGen, Oce digital presses.
  • Experience with 4-color (CMYK) printing and digital print workflows.
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude, with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and train others.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with HP PageWide digital presses.
  • Familiarity with inline finishing equipment (e.g., VITS).
  • Previous work in a traditional offset or web press environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain HP PageWide T4250 & A2200 digital web presses with inline finishing.
  • Monitor output to ensure print quality and job specifications are met.
  • Train and guide new press operators and crew members.
  • Perform standard and advanced maintenance tasks independently.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and production issues.
  • Coordinate with production leadership on job priorities and deadlines.
  • Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed.
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, maintenance logs, and quality checks.
