About The Position

Flipside is a creative digital design and technology studio that produces best-in-class solutions for a diverse client list of global and national brands. We are looking for a Lead Digital Designer who is passionate about creating innovative and user-first digital experiences. This role involves leading design efforts for multiple client brands, focusing on digital brand campaigns, enterprise websites, and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be a conceptual problem solver and an articulate presenter, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of creative projects.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of total experience, including 2+ years in an agency setting.
  • A beautiful portfolio that illustrates creative prowess, strategic thinking, and mastery of visual design.
  • Deep experience in designing for digital across various media and touchpoints, including enterprise websites, campaign microsites, mobile applications, and social campaigns.
  • Extensive experience creating visually engaging brand design systems across multiple digital channels.
  • Experience developing high concept visuals for new business pitches.
  • Proven expertise in creating extensive atomic digital design systems for web and mobile.
  • Mastery of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Apple Keynote.
  • Knowledgeable about emerging media, trends, and philosophies in design, technology, AI, and XR.
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, well-organized, and resilient to changing timelines and requests.
  • Comfort with managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and execute visually stunning creative concepts and user-centric digital experiences that exceed strategic objectives.
  • Develop high-end concepts and visuals for pitch presentations that help win new business.
  • Articulate and justify conceptual choices with a strong creative vision.
  • Develop strong digital designs and prototypes for various project types, including enterprise websites and omnichannel digital campaigns.
  • Collaborate with user experience, content strategy, analytics, and development teams to meet data and functional requirements.
  • Present work confidently in internal and client presentations.
  • Proactively deliver assignments on-time and communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
  • Participate in internal and client meetings, brainstorms, and planning sessions for multiple projects.
  • Art direct photoshoots for campaigns and brand assets, ensuring alignment with client visual identity and messaging.
  • Foster collaboration and idea exchange by providing actionable feedback and promoting new design thinking processes.
