Lead Dietary Aide
About The Position
The Lead Diet Aide provides the proper food for patients and for the OSUMC Café, following recipes and sanitation procedures outlined by State and Federal agencies. They provide a link for any patient dietary concerns and ensure food items for the Café meet the highest possible culinary standards. Prepares/Oversees patient and Café Food production. This is a working position, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and working the tray line—supervision of Diet Aides, cooks, and dishwashers. The Lead Diet Aide provides the proper food for patients, and for OSUMC Café following recipes and sanitation procedure outlined by State and Federal agencies; provides a link for any patient dietary concerns; provides food items for Café in the highest possible culinary standards. Prepares/Oversees patient and Café Food production.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Food Handlers' Permit
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years of prior Food Service experience preferred
