We’re looking for top-tier talent ready to take on the challenge. Join us in building the future. We are looking for a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our software development team. The DevSecOps Engineer understands the software development lifecycle (from coding to support) and has the understanding of various automation tools for developing digital pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins Shared Libraries, Groovy scripting, and Jenkinsfile pipelines. This role is critical to enhancing our CI/CD capabilities, improving deployment reliability, and embedding security into our development lifecycle. Location This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.

Requirements

  • 7+ years overall professional Software Development and Operations experience.
  • Strong experience with Jenkins, including Shared Libraries and pipeline design.
  • Proficiency in Groovy, Bash, and Python scripting.
  • Deep understanding of Git workflows and version control best practices.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions for workflow automation and CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and tools like curl.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).
  • Agile development experience using Jira and sprint planning.
  • Experience with good engineering practices (test driven development, continuous integration: Jenkins)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate via MS Teams.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ServiceNow and customer support portals preferred.
  • UNIX/Linux and Windows administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work under agile principles.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Develop and manage Jenkins Shared Libraries to standardize pipeline logic across projects.
  • Write and maintain Groovy-based Jenkinsfiles for declarative and scripted pipelines.
  • Integrate security checks and compliance validations into build and deployment workflows.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot build failures and deployment issues.
  • Maintain and optimize tools such as Nexus, SonarQube, and Git repositories.
  • Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge on how to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a test and product environment.
  • Ability to identify, assess and integrate various open-source technologies and cloud services.
  • Mentor and train other DevOps engineers and seek to continually improve processes.
