About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer who will remotely manage up to 5 DevOps Engineers in India. This position is a fully remote position based in the United States.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline automation, and Azure Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure networking and authentication processes
  • 2+ years of experience leading technical teams or managing DevOps engineers
  • Experience managing offshore or distributed teams preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factories, Network Security Perimeters, and Virtual Machines.
  • Hands-on experience supporting C# / .NET applications
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server and Azure SQL.
  • This role primarily supports PST business hours. Flexibility to occasionally support EMEA time zones is required based on project and operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide architectural oversight and guidance for CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
  • Oversee and optimize Azure cloud environments across multiple projects and teams, including compute, networking, and storage
  • Support deployment and release of .NET / C# applications in Azure environments
  • Identify solutions and implementation paths for newly identified security requirements
  • Partner with Microsoft engineering teams to improve build, test, and release workflows
  • Document pipelines, infrastructure, and operational processes
  • Lead and manage a team, providing strategic direction, performance oversight, and career development support
  • Establish and drive DevOps standards, governance, and operational excellence across distributed teams
  • Partner with US-based and global stakeholders to align DevOps strategy with business and security objectives
  • Oversee capacity planning, resource allocation, and delivery commitments across projects
  • Provide leadership in security and compliance initiatives, including S360 and Secure First Initiative (SFI) efforts
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams
