The Lead Development Specialist will manage an intake queue that includes a variety of Johnson Controls (JCI) products and services, tailored for both existing clients and potential whitespace opportunities. The role involves engaging clients via phone and email to qualify leads and schedule meetings for Security Front Line Sales or Security Inside Sales representatives. The position emphasizes strategic client engagement, lead qualification, pipeline development, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous learning.

  • Partner closely with sales teams for seamless lead handoff.
  • Participate in regular syncs with sales leadership.
  • Stay up to date on JCI's evolving product and service offerings.
  • Embrace ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • 0-2 years of Inside Sales, telemarketing, or customer interaction experience.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering high-quality client experience.
  • Strong communicator and active listener with a consultative approach.
  • Team-oriented and able to build effective working relationships.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks.
  • 2-4 years of Inside Sales, telemarketing, or customer interaction experience.
  • Track record of over-achieving goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence account decision makers.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing a high volume of calls (45-60 avg. per day).
