About the position
The Lead Developer at Epsilon is responsible for designing and developing enterprise services using MuleSoft, focusing on creating seamless integrations and enhancing application functionalities. This role requires a strong technical background in API development, collaboration with various stakeholders, and the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. The Lead Developer will also oversee the full system development life cycle and ensure project success through agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, code, test, and implement complex application enhancements.
- Provide general production support while meeting defined scope, target dates, and budgets.
- Collaborate with customers, business analysts, partners, and IT team members to understand business requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, conducting technical walkthroughs and reporting project status.
- Translate business objectives into technical solutions and apply integration design patterns.
- Utilize agile principles to capture requirements and track project progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of strong development experience using MuleSoft.
- MuleSoft Developer Level I certification is a must.
- Hands-on experience in API development with 7+ years in the MuleSoft platform.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and MuleSoft API-led connectivity.
- Familiarity with SOA principles and integration patterns.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment processes.
Nice-to-haves
- MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 2 certification.
- Knowledge of AWS.
- Experience with technologies such as Salesforce.com, SAP, DocuSign, and EDI Partner Manager.
- Understanding of infrastructure concepts like networking, VPC, VPN, and load balancers.
