About the position

Headquartered in Ridgefield Park, N.J., Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (SEA) is a leader in mobile technologies, consumer electronics, home appliances and enterprise solutions. The company pushes beyond the limits of today's technology to provide groundbreaking connected experiences across its large portfolio of products and services, including mobile devices, home appliances, home entertainment, 5G networks and digital displays. As an eleven-time winner of EPA's ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award for Sustained Excellence, SEA is dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment through its eco-conscious products, practices and operations. The Lead DevOps Engineer will design, build, and run high-quality, non-impactful deployments to power Samsung.com. We do continuous integration/deployment to dev/test environments and multiple production releases per day. This highly technical position requires a broad set of technical skills, including deployment technologies, monitoring, scripting, networking, and infrastructure. Additionally, we pride ourselves on on-site availability, speed, and flexibility to accommodate business requirements. This position requires working with many new technologies and applications. This could be a great fit for you if you thrive on solving hard and complex problems. One day, you might be in a DBA role, and the next day, troubleshooting Kubernetes issues, all while building capacity plans for the next Samsung product release.
