About The Position

The Lead Designer is responsible for leading the vision and strategic direction for the creative team, driving innovation and excellence across all design projects. Collaborate closely with management and cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive design strategies that support identified goals. Lead and inspire a team of designers, ensuring that all work produced meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to functional work is required.
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design tools.
  • Strong client management and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with business goals and objectives.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to define work based on evaluation of short-term and long-term goals of the department.
  • Ability to independently evaluate processes, identify areas of improvement, and incorporate them into overall work objectives.
  • Experience overseeing design budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.

  • Experience designing for beauty brands a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define the creative direction of assigned design projects, ensuring alignment with broader business strategies and objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end process of design projects, taking ownership and successfully executing each phase of creative development on target, on time, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute design strategies that support key business initiatives.
  • Provide design oversight for projects, ensuring high standards for quality, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Act as a key creative consultant for leadership and stakeholders, ensuring that all design projects reflect the vision and goals.
  • Develop and implement best practices for design workflows, improving efficiency and output across teams.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to design solutions that will resonate with target audiences.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time and on budget, while optimizing team resources.
