Rivian Design Office Operations is seeking a Lead Studio Technical Specialist. The Design Office Operations team is responsible for creating physical assets to validate design proposals and provide 3D scanning, additive manufacturing, CNC machining, fabrication and paint support. This role requires a highly organized self-starter who has a thorough understanding of fabrication and fixturing concepts, methods, and procedures and a proven track record for managing complex fabrication projects in an iterative and fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to facilitate the creation of physical models and support the studio with 3D scans while occasionally assisting with other related activities such as 3D printing, light fabrication, and model assembly.
