About The Position

We are seeking a Lead Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of mechanical, structural, and thermal systems for hydrogen generation systems. The role focuses on ensuring complete system functionality, performance, and compliance with engineering and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 10 plus years or Master's degree with 7 plus years in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Strong background in mechanical system design and documentation
• Experience with industrial piping, pressure vessels, and structural assemblies
• Familiarity with codes such as ASME B31, ISO 22734, IEC 60079-10-1, CSA FC4
• Proficiency in CREO, Windchill, ANSYS, and Mathcad
• Experience in hydrogen systems or related industrial sectors is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components from concept to production
• Lead integration of piping, structural, and thermal subsystems
• Perform design analysis including FEA, CFD, and hand calculations
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and installation teams
• Ensure designs comply with standards such as ASME, ASTM, ISO
• Mentor junior engineers and support career development
• Estimate costs and timelines for installation and service
