About The Position

The primary focus of this position is to oversee the Deli Department in the absence of the Department Manager. The Deli Department Lead will ensure the Kitchen & Deli are successfully meeting company merchandising standards, fully stocked, and appealing to our guests. This individual is responsible for providing continuous delivery of exceptional guest service, providing outstanding leadership to the Deli staff, ensuring superior quality and freshness of all salad and sliced meat products, educating and assisting guests at the kitchen and deli counter, attracting guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere, actively engaging guests through product samples and suggestive selling, and understanding all health, safety and sanitation regulations.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Deli Department in the absence of the Department Manager.
  • Ensure the Kitchen & Deli meet company merchandising standards.
  • Maintain a fully stocked and appealing Deli Department.
  • Provide exceptional guest service.
  • Lead and support Deli staff.
  • Ensure quality and freshness of salad and sliced meat products.
  • Educate and assist guests at the kitchen and deli counter.
  • Create a fun and friendly atmosphere to attract guests.
  • Engage guests through product samples and suggestive selling.
  • Understand and comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
