The primary focus of this position is to assist in the management of the Deli/Bakery in the absence of the Department Manager. This individual will be responsible for providing continuous delivery of exceptional guest service, providing outstanding leadership to Deli & Bakery staff, and ensuring superior quality and freshness of all salad and sliced meat products and bakery products. Other duties include: Answers phones and takes special orders; trains new employees, educates and assists guests at the Deli/Bakery counter; attract guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere; actively engaging guests through product samples and suggestive selling; ensures display cases are fully stocked with product and understanding all health, safety and sanitation regulations.
