Develop and oversee data management processes, including tracking, validation, and data quality monitoring. Configure and administer user permissions, access controls, and security standards in alignment with organizational and State IT requirements. Create data pipelines, scripts, and automation that enable efficient data exchange and interoperability. Design, implement, and maintain databases optimized for performance, scalability, and long‑term sustainability. Lead ongoing database tuning, performance optimization, and issue resolution throughout the contract lifecycle. Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all database processes, workflows, and configurations. Provide subject‑matter expertise, training, and analytic support to internal users and technical teams. Assist business users in developing queries, scripts, and reports to support operational needs. Perform additional duties as required to ensure secure, reliable, and resilient database operations. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Database Administrator. Minimum five (5) years supporting public‑sector entities in planning and implementing database enhancements. Minimum five (5) years designing and modifying tables, views, stored procedures, and data structures. Minimum five (5) years troubleshooting complex data flow and data exchange issues. Minimum three (3) years serving in a lead or senior‑level capacity. One (1) to three (3) years of experience as Lead DBA on a public‑sector system (desired qualification).
