About The Position

The Lead Data Scientist at Teradata is responsible for leveraging data analytics and science to drive decision-making and optimize revenue for the organization. This role involves implementing large-scale data ecosystems, managing data delivery project teams, and collaborating with various teams to architect organizational intelligence programs. The position requires significant experience in data management and cloud analytics, as well as strong leadership skills to guide teams through complex data management engagements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant data management and/or cloud analytics consulting or industry experience.
• 4+ years of experience leading and managing data delivery project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Significant experience leading complex data management engagements with team sizes ranging from 5 to 20 resources.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data management toolsets such as Salesforce, Eloqua, 6sense, Aprimo, Google Analytics, Teradata, Microsoft BI.
• An advanced degree in the area of specialization.
• Proven skills as a team member, team lead, or project manager on multiple full life cycle implementations.
• Eagerness to mentor junior staff and improve data strategy and implementation quality.

Responsibilities

• Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance, and integration of structured and unstructured data.
• Leverage automation and data science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios, and prescribe actions.
• Drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems and providing data intelligence for continuous insights and improvements.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Leadership Team, GTM Team, and LOB to architect organizational intelligence programs and strategies.
