Learn more about how CR advocates on behalf of our employees. CR's Data Science Team is business-led and technology enabled to help drive the strategic growth of our organization. As Lead Data Scientist you will take a leadership role in identifying and prioritizing the department's and organization's data analysis needs, and offer and execute innovative approaches to developing new products and insights. Reporting to the Director, Data Science, you will also work cross-functionally to acquire and synthesize data in order to understand both internal and external analytic and product development and organizational strategic goals. Requirements

  • PhD and 7+ years experience in data science and 2+ years leading teams of Data Scientists.
  • Strong skill in Python, R, GenAI, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Databricks, and AWS.
  • Deep understanding of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, Topic Modeling, Natural Language processing, machine learning approaches, recommendation engines, GenAI, and collaborative filtering techniques.
  • Experience partnering with business, research, and testing teams to identify opportunities, define needs, and align data science projects with organizational goals.

  • Experience translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience driving innovation in data by leading data collection, synthesis, and analysis to anticipate emerging needs and influence new products and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex data-driven projects, influencing business decisions, and advising on best practices for data science within the organization.
  • Provide new insights and recommendations through the use of advanced statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques.
  • Leverage and synthesize data from internal and external sources in order to enhance the organization's understanding of its customer segments' behaviors, outcomes, and decision points.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor by translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders, and by acting as an internal consultant on best practices in data science.
  • Lead enterprise data science initiatives by coordinating and overseeing the work of data scientists, statisticians, and analysts; design and implement advanced models, algorithms, and processes that transform data into actionable insights.
