About The Position

AirOps is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to enhance the machine learning and AI capabilities of our platform. This role involves leading the development and deployment of ML models that assist customers in generating high-quality content at scale, extracting actionable insights from brand data, and optimizing content marketing strategies. As a key technical leader, you will also be responsible for building and mentoring our expanding data science team.

Requirements

• 5+ years in data science/ML, with 2+ years deploying models to production
• Strong Python skills and ML framework expertise (TensorFlow, scikit-learn, pandas)
• Experience with MLOps practices and production ML systems
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to recruit and evaluate data talent
• Track record of leading technical projects across cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

• Marketing/ad tech domain experience
• NLP expertise, particularly in content generation
• Startup experience and comfort with rapid iteration

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production ML/AI models for content generation and analysis
• Build NLP pipelines that extract insights and optimize marketing content at scale
• Partner with engineering to ensure reliable model integration and performance
• Establish MLOps best practices for model development, monitoring, and retraining
• Recruit and mentor a world-class data science team
• Drive the technical vision for AI/ML across the platform
