Emmes Group is seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our team and play a key role in developing the next generation of AI and Machine Learning products for clinical research. This position is fully remote within the US and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transformation of clinical research, bringing the promise of new medical discoveries closer to patients. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and building models and data pipelines that streamline the analysis of clinical data across various functions in the clinical development life cycle, including Data Management, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Monitoring, Central Monitoring, and Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM). In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including bioinformatics analysts, data managers, software engineers, therapeutic area leaders, and product managers. Your work will involve designing, developing, and implementing scalable software solutions and features for analyzing and interpreting clinical data. You will also develop automated workflows for data engineering and processing, integrating these workflows with AWS services such as AWS CLI, S3, Batch, and Cloud Watch. By applying statistical and machine learning techniques, you will extract meaningful insights from large-scale clinical datasets, execute and troubleshoot data processing and reporting workflows, and conduct independent research to generate impactful results for clinical research. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, with expertise in generative AI and other advanced techniques. You will be expected to manage multiple tasks effectively, work independently as well as in a team environment, and communicate technical concepts clearly in both written and oral formats.
