About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Data Product Manager – Pharmacy Data Products in the United States. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of pharmacy data products, transforming both new and legacy datasets into trusted, governed, and highly usable assets. The Lead Data Product Manager ensures that data products are discoverable, reliable, and optimized for analytics, operational workflows, digital experiences, and AI-enabled self-service. The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, including backlog management, user story creation, and cross-functional alignment. Success in this role requires deep knowledge of data governance, modernization platforms, and healthcare/pharmacy data, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, analytics, compliance, and business teams. The role is critical in supporting downstream product experiences while maintaining high standards for data quality, documentation, and usability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 6–10+ years of experience in product management, data product management, or analytics product ownership at scale.
  • Strong SQL skills to perform basic data exploration and validation.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience, aligning cross-functional teams around definitions, priorities, and outcomes.
  • Familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK2 principles applied practically (governance, metadata, quality, stewardship).
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, claims, fulfillment, or regulated data environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to productize data assets, improving governance, usability, quality, and adoption.
  • Strong familiarity with SAFe Agile environments, including writing features and user stories and participating in PI planning.
  • Competency in data modeling, metadata management, lineage, quality, stewardship, and lifecycle practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with Databricks or similar lakehouse modernization projects.

Responsibilities

  • Own the pharmacy data product portfolio, defining, prioritizing, and managing both new and legacy data products to ensure reliable and reusable datasets.
  • Lead the modernization and migration of data to platforms such as Databricks, including clear definitions, lineage documentation, versioning, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Establish and operationalize practical data governance foundations, including stewardship, metadata standards, critical data element definitions, quality monitoring, and lifecycle management.
  • Enhance self-service analytics and AI readiness by standardizing definitions, access patterns, documentation, and usability guidance.
  • Partner with downstream product teams to expose data appropriately for digital and operational applications, maintaining data contracts and consumer expectations.
  • Drive delivery through SAFe Agile methodology, including backlog management, PI planning, feature and story creation, and tracking key product KPIs.
