The Lead Data Management Specialist will be responsible for designing and developing data storage systems, processes, and enhancements for the company's complex high traffic, business critical internet site communications and/or cloud product systems. The individual will lead the design of enterprise storage environments, including enterprise storage arrays, fiber channel switches and Network Attached Storage (NAS) physical and virtual tape devices. In addition, the individual will develop solutions and processes for reliable and stable data storage management, security, backup, restoration, archiving and replication. The Lead Data Management Specialist will also assist with the implementation of new or additional storage technology to improve infrastructure service locally and remotely. Specific responsibilities include: Designing and implementing Kafka clusters in the enterprise environment. Assisting development teams with solution design. Troubleshooting Kafka performance and data issues. Designing and implementing security best practices; Implementing best practices for Kafka implementation and support. Designing and implementing backup and disaster recover procedures. Designing and maintaining Redis Clusters. Deploying and maintaining Observability stack in Kubernetes. Creating and maintaining Disaster Recovery Playbook for failing over to DR data center. Supporting Kubernetes workloads across all environments.Telecommuting permitted.
