Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong focus on retail merchandising.
• Proven expertise in technical design and data governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, including merchandising and inventory management.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience Plus with tools such as Stibo (PIM), Profisee, and Alation (Metadata Catalog).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of the end-to-end merchandising lifecycle, from product purchasing through store sales and inventory planning.
• Oversee data governance processes, ensuring strong metadata management, data quality controls, and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define technical strategies and deliver business-aligned solutions.
• Provide subject matter expertise in retail systems, tools, and data pipelines.
• Perform hands-on development and maintenance of business matrix libraries, metadata catalogs, and data quality rules.
• Support the implementation of data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with organizational data standards.
• Partner closely with the Senior Architect to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with project objectives.
