Requirements

  • Strong seniority in Data Engineering, with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset
  • Solid experience in analytics engineering and data modeling, not just ingestion
  • Hands-on experience with AWS-based data stacks
  • Proven use of Airflow, dbt, Redshift, and DMS in production environments
  • Strong SQL skills and experience maintaining analytical warehouses
  • Ability to reason about infrastructure, cost, and scalability trade-offs
  • Advanced English

Nice To Haves

  • Experience consuming data from SaaS platforms such as HubSpot (CRM), Braze, or Intercom
  • Background in fintech or high-growth startups (non-traditional banking environments)
  • Experience collaborating directly with product, analytics, or growth teams
  • Familiarity with data quality frameworks, observability, or FinOps practices
  • Experience leading or mentoring other data engineers

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and evolution of analytical data platforms, balancing data modeling, performance, and maintainability
  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines using Airflow, dbt, and AWS-native services
  • Design and own dimensional data models that power analytics, reporting, and downstream use cases
  • Manage and maintain cloud data infrastructure on AWS, including Redshift and ingestion workflows (DMS)
  • Ensure data reliability, quality, and scalability through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement
  • Act as a technical leader, guiding decisions, mentoring peers, and collaborating closely with analytics and business stakeholders
