The Lead Data Analyst will be responsible for planning, conducting, and delivering data analysis and requirements to solve complex business problems through data solutions. In this role, you will work directly with internal business partners and Information Architects from various functions and levels within the organization to implement data solutions.

  • Collaborate with business units to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyze business processes and identify areas where data solutions can add value.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for data solutions.
  • Work with IT and data teams to design and implement data solutions.
  • Develop data models, data flows, and data integration processes.
  • Ensure data solutions align with business objectives and IT strategies.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and deploy dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business needs.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making and best practices across the organization.
  • Communicate data solutions goals, progress, and outcomes to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Monitor and optimize data solutions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify data-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure data solutions support data privacy and security requirements.
  • Develop and maintain conceptual data models.
  • Bachelor's Degree in information science, data management, computer science or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Typically 8+ years experience in data analysis, business analysis or computer programming.
  • Typically 2+ years Experience working with industry standards, regulations, and guidelines in database warehousing and other relevant systems.
  • Strong understanding of data management concepts, including data governance, data quality, data integration, and master data management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques, data profiling tools, and data quality management tools.
  • Experience with data integration tools and technologies (e.g., ETL, data pipelines, API integrations).
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and experience implementing data privacy controls.
  • Familiarity with data cataloging and metadata management tools.
  • Experience working with domain structures; conceptual, logic and physical.
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data-related concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data architecture principles and data modeling concepts is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to enterprise data management.
